Make Your Own Pesto from Scratch

In moving all my DIY etc posts over to this blog, I’m revisiting some of my photos. Today, we’ll be looking at making your own home-made pesto, using this recipe:


1/4 cup pine nuts – into the blender they go!

1 1/2 cups fresh basil leaves

3/4 cup shredded parmesan. I ran out of parmesan (for the batch where I actually took these photos) so this is just cheddar, lol.

Top it off with 2 small garlic clothes and 5 tablespoons of olive oil.


Put all of the above into a blender – then BLEND!

Makes approximately 2 1/2 cups of pesto.
